Acryllic wholesalers?

I've been trying to find acryllic, like thick clear plastic, but haven't been able to find any wholesalers on the internet, do you guys know of any place I can look?

Your searches might be more successful if you spelled it correctly. "acrylic." Also consider searching on "polycarbonate" and/or "Lexan."

There are plenty of online shops that sell acrylic. McMaster Carr comes to mind. I wouldn't consider them a "wholesaler," though, but those exist, too. Unless you're looking for an uncommon thickness or a very large amount, you're probably better off buying from a local glass repair shop. You'll find that their prices aren't all that much different from what you'll find online. They'll also cut it to your dimensions and you won't have to pay shipping fees.

HD can special order anything you want. We carried 4'x8' sheets of "small arms resistant" lexan.

Plexiglass and lucite are different brandnames for acrylic, which is more appropriately called polyacralyte.

Lexan is the brandname for polycarbonate.

Polycarbonate is much more shatter resistant then polyacralyte, but polyacralyte is more scratch resistant and more rigid in thinner pieces.
