Acrylic or Aluminum

I am looking at getting a clear computer case to house my PC's components and was wondering if the acrylic cases used for this disipate heat as well as the aluminum cases?

Thanks.😕

the aluminum would disipate heat better than acrylic, although in both cases it is nominal since you should have the hot air blown out of the case in the first place. so pretty much buy the one you think looks cooler

By the time your case material comes into play in terms of cooling your components, your components would have long since cooked themselves. Bottom line is that it doesn't matter. Get whichever case you think looks best and has the features you want.

acrylic doesn't protect against EMI
But then, I haven't heard many complaints about this issue. By others with acrylic cases or by the higher population of people with acrylic window kits. I doubt this is a serious problem...
