Acronis + Vista UAC

I just upgraded to 64 bit Ultimate and have decided to leave UAC on for now. My concern is will UAC prompt me every time I try and run an Acronis backup overnight? If so that kind of defeats the purpose. I've been told UAC "learns" your behavior over time but haven't noticed yet, I still get prompted every time I open ccleaner or Acronis for instance, both of which I use frequently.

UAC doesnt learn behaviour. But see http://www.nortonlabs.com/inthelab/uac.php

As for acronis, you should be able to schedule it with task scheduler and not get prompted each time (or see the nortonlabs link)

See the Vista Annoyances article at Tweakguides.. you can keep UAC on, but turn off the elevation of prompts. This so far has been the best way for me to deal with the UAC.
