Dell charges 4.99 shipping.
Here's another option that comes out close to the final price without the rebate. It's a download from Acronis' website for 24.99 True Image 11

That's for an upgrade, not full product.

I see that now. I wonder why they sent me the email for the upgrade? I don't own the full version. I downloaded their trial version once and that was it.

Its not nearly what acronis trueimage is. Its like comparing microsoft access to oracle or notepad to microsoft word.

It's more like comparing PPT viewer to PPT. It's basically a dumbed down version of the original. You can still do full backups, but scheduling and incremental backups are disabled.

For most people, the free version (for Seagate or Maxtor) would be all they ever needed. But a number of people have reported problems with this "free" version, mainly not being able to restore the backup. I have been using the commercial version of True Image for several years, and I have had occasion to restore from the backup image several times. Never a problem. Highly recommended.

EDIT: At one point, Newegg had this for $24.99, but it is back up to $34.99 now. They do have version 10 for $15.99, free shipping. If you're not using Vista, a very good deal.

Great product!
It's saved my butt a few times.
I own 10 right now and wonder it's worth the upgrade.
