A year ago, there was a series of posts on Wilders about "E00070020 The image archive is corrupted".

And a review from December 2006 at Compusa says
"Appears to work without a hitch, until you verify the integrity of the image. 90% of the images fail verification, showing error E00070020".

Has anyone run a save-restore cycle with Acronis TrueImage 10? Has anyone booted from a TI10 bootable CD? Is E00070020 still there?

I've restored multiple times using Acronis True Image Home 10 without verifying the image with no issues at all.

I remember running into this image corruption in the past. I learned the hard way when I tried to restore the image and found out it was corrupted.

I believe it occured when I used Acronis inside windows. I was using the incremental back up in windows.

I have since been booting off the disc and doing it from a dos? environment. I have not had any corrupted image since then. Of course I still verify the image after creation just to make sure.

This may be unrelated to your problem but FYI.
