Acronis True Image - disk image to DVD-RW and back?

Has anyone made a disk image with Acronis True Image to DVD-RWs and been sucessful in restoring the data to their hard drive?

I've created the bootable CD and have created the disk image on two DVD-RWs. I want to be assured that I can depend on those disks to rebuild my hard drive if I need to.

I've never burnt to a DVD directly using Acronis -- I've always saved the image file to my HD first and then burnt to a DVD using Nero, etc.

Using this method, I've not had a problem restoring image using the bootable Acronis CD. Use Acronis to check/verify the image file(s), use reputable DVD media, and you should be fine.
