HI
I will be away from my pc for a day or two that has Acronis installed on it.
The Acronis software was included with a hard drive I installed.
I want to clone a folder that has nearly 0ne thousand files in it. The files must be kept in order by dae and time created!
Can I clone that folder to a drive or to a usb drive or flash drve and keep everything in order by date and time??
I would play around with it but as I said I am not near near my pc for a while.

Folders are NEVER kept in order by date and time created. That is just a preference that windows remembers for your view. The date and time created are just attributes of the file.

For something like that you'll want something like robocopy or rsync. And as yinan said, the files aren't stored in any particular in the filesystem, any sorting you're doing is purely done in Explorer.

Yes you can clone a single folder. It works pretty much the same as a partition backup. The date and time are needed anyways since that is how the software tells if any changes occur for incremental backup.

I keep partitions as well as folders backed up with acronis.
