I have two actions I want to merge into one action.
1. Insert a form field into the document, then use a JavaScript code to timestamp a date 7 days out into that field whenever the document is printed to PDF or a printer.
2. Secure the document with a password.
Through the Action Wizard, I can just simply choose the actions I want for number 2. Number 1 is a bit more difficult because the user would have to copy the JavaScript timestamp code from a text file and paste it into the JavaScript document actions text field. A client wants to combine these two processes so they could batch process a bunch of PDFs, about 100+ at a time.
I've searched and looked at many Acrobat forums to no avail.
What options do I have to accomplish this? Or would I just have to manually timestamp each of the documents?
