Acrobat 9 / Printing PDF: "Licensing for this product has stopped working"

I would download Cute PDF Writer (free) and use that. We constantly have licensing issues with Acrobat at work and have valid licenses for all of our machines. And, like you said, Adobe Support is useless.

Fair enough, but this is actually for a friend who shelled out whatever ungodly sum Adobe demands for CS5, so I'm sure she'd like to actually be able to use it.
