acrobat 6.0

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to enable editing on the PDF file? I downloaded a PDF form but can't figure out the settings so that I can type-in/fill-in the forms. I know it can be done just don't remember how to.
I have acrobat 6.0 reader and professional version.

I think the PDF has to be specifically created to allow forms to be filled in.

just FYI: acrobat reader 7.0 was released recently (last week?)

Check the security settings of the PDF inside acrobat and see if editing is allowed. Usually you can just use the text touchup tool.

you could always edit the doc in Word and use a virtual .pdf printer to convert it back to .pdf. i guess that would be kinda crazy though.
