Acquiring Network IP Address

I have a Linksys router with WPA enabled. Desktop and laptop are both connected with wireless. Well laptop was until about an hour ago.

I was doing something with network wizard to get my desktop recognized and I lost the IP address.

Now the laptop just does the endless "Acquiring Network IP Address" thing.

It did this once before but I can't remember what I did to fix it.

I tried turning off/on router and modem. And computer. Hard-wired the network connection to router.

Can't figure it out this time.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for taking the time to type out any clues.

No it won't connect to the internet.

Or wouldn't. I fixed it.

I tried everything. Resetting router, modem, running network setup wizard, disconnecting and trying to reconnect, etc...

Finally I disconnected, and then re-entered my WPA password. Immediate connection.

I don't understand what happened but maybe this will help somebody someday.
