Got new kt7a and duron 800 2 months ago and have been running great. Even oc moderately to 997mz. Two days ago I tried installing a old SCSI scanner I had and when detecting new hardware Windows decided to install ACPI on it own. Now not only will the scanner not work but every other time I boot up my modem fails too. I wanted to disable ACPI in the BIOS but I am not sure what option it is. Is it the enable/disable PnP option in the PnP features off the main BIOS menu? If I restall windows with ACPI off is there anything in windows I should backup first?:disgust:
