ACPI option missing from Abit KT7 BIOS

I am having problems with PCI cards sharing IRQ's in Windows 2000. The hardware manufacturers tech support has told me that their hardware cannot share IRQ's. I have found a paper in the Windows 2000 Knowledge Base that states that it doesn't matter if PCI cards share IRQ's in Windows 2000. Funny huh!

Windows 2000 gives directions as to how to manually change the settings of the cards, unfortunately the manual configure option is greyed out under device manager. It has been suggested that if I turn ACPI off in the BIOS I could then manually configure the IRQ's. For whatever reason, under Power Management Setup, the first option of Enable or Disable ACPI Function is NOT there even though the manual shows it should be. I have updated to the newest BIOS and it is still not there.

Any suggestions as to why I am missing this feature? Any suggestions as to how to fix it?

Thanks.
