ACPI Error Message In XP

I installed Windows XP Pro onto a system with a Shuttle AV61 Rev. 1.4 mainboard. At every boot of XP, I get two errors in the System event log. It says "ACPI BIOS Is Attempting to Write to Illegal IO Port Address." There's also one that says Read. In the Microsoft Knowledge Base it says an updated BIOS might fix this. This mainboard currently has BIOS AV61S02N. Shuttle's site has an AV61S02S available for download. Sounds like that might be a slightly updated version.

Should I try flashing the BIOS with that AV61S02S or just leave the system the way it is? Thanks for any info you can give me.
