Nice deals for those who aren't rebate shy. 3 rebates each, although it does say to put all three in one enevelope, which is nice and not typical. I read the terms on one of the forms, it says "Offer limited to one ACP-EP MEMORY part number per
name/family/address." So, you should be able to do both of these if you want, as they are different part numbers.

I'm definately rebate shy about this offer considering they have no number in which to reach them...

hum, just ordered one a few days ago as a stocking stuffer - the usb snowboard will accessorize his new real snowboard. Although, this is a better deal because it ends up free rather then $6.

These types of rebates are always dicy!

Got mine in the mail today.

USB transfer rates are ungodly slow. I am getting around 1.5MB/s or about USB1.1 spec speeds.

Their product info states I should be getting around 20MB/s.

Oh well...

I jumped on this deal. Still waiting for it to leave the Warehouse.... Good deal, if the rebates come through.

So much for "extreme performance", eh?

I assume you *are* using it in a USB2.0 port, right? :) :) :)

I jumped on the 2gb mini flash drive they had a few weeks ago and it died within a week of normal use. They are supposedly mailing me a new one though...

Yep, I was using the ports on my Dell 2405FPW monitor and the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe mobo.

Uhh....yeah. That would qualify as 2.0! ;)

Any difference if you bypassed the monitor hub and went straight into the motherboard (rear ports)? Just curious...not that I really expect much difference......

The new one came in today via DHL about 2 days after calling. Not bad. Hopefully this one will last me more than a week.

I just received mine, also ungodly slow. Plugged it into a Vista machine which refused to use it for ReadyBoost because it said it only worked at 765KBps read speed. The very same machine & USB port was willing to use a SimpleTech 1GB flash part for ReadyBoost that it rated as 3-4x as fast, so it isn't that I am using a 1.1 USB port or anything.

Avoid this part if you care about speed!
