For $100? You may be able to get something made by Optimus from the Radio Shack discount shelf. If you are serious about getting one, save up and get good equipment.

My recommendations........

Trace Elliot TA1000R - $1149.00
Fender Acoustasonic SFX - $650
Marshall AS50R - $379
Fender Acoustasonic Junior - $439
SWR Strawberry Blonde - $499
Behringer Ultracoustic ACX1000 - $299

You may find a cheaper amp, but you aren't in acoustic amps and/or are getting junk/crappy sound.

You could look for a refurbished amp. I don't know brands or anything, but my brother got some uber amp that's regularly priced at 600-700 dollars and got it for 250 with full factory warranty.

Well, you aren't going to be able to get much that is brand new, for $100. If I were you, and you just had to buy an acoustic amp with only $100, I'd go used. Maybe check out some local shops used gear - Guitar Center comes to mind. Even then, you'll be hard pressed to find something that's even worth buying.

Here's one Ebay auction: Crate CA-60

I have a Crate CA-125 acoustic amp that is smooth as heck. I'm sure the CA-60 is a good bet as well. If you can't snag this one for under $100, I'd suggest checking out some lower end Fender acoustic amps. That might get you below $100.

Getting a Crate or Trace Elliot, even a Fender on your budget may be impossible. I'd give that Ebay auction a shot. Good luck and let us know what you get!

I don't think you'll find an acoustic amp for that low, not a decent one anyway (you can barely find a decent electric amp for that price). I would spend the money towards a good pickup like a Fishman or L.R. Baggs
