How are the Ibanez acoustic electrics?

I really like Ibanez's acoustics. They have a round sound to them. I find that Martin's tend too be too bright for my taste.

I actually own a Rogue, which I bought on Musiciansfriend.com and I am extremely pleased with it. It's a great quality guitar for the money you pay.

Seagull makes good guitars too

You're the second person to recommend the rogues! I found the one for 129 bucks and I guess I just didn't believe that it would be as good as the 300 dollar ibanez or alvarez. Obviously, spending less is good, but I was willing to go up to like 400.

is it really, regardless of price, that good, or is it really just a bang for the buck type deal?

This store, musician's friend, seems to have pretty good return policies. You get 45 days they say. What do you guys think about those two?

Thanks.

Check out American Musical Supply as well. They have a great selection, really good prices and fast (and free on orders over $49.95) shipping, 45-day return policy, etc. Also, they allow you to split your purchase price into 3-5 (depending on price) equal payments if you are a little tight on cash. I ordered my acoustic from them a couple years ago and couldn't be happier.

SWEET!!!!

I'd stay away from the cheap Martins. Best bang-for-the-buck in an acoustic is Larrivee.

Im telling you...go for it...look at the reviews. I own one myself and can vouch for it.

yeah, i own the Rogue dreadnought A/E.

It has a pretty round sound for a <$200 guitar. I would compare it to a pretty decent Takamine. It's not a bright as a Martin, and not as dark and low as some of Takamine's dreadnoughts.

The electronics on it are better than most cheaper A/E's and just as good as most mid-level A/E's.
