Which one do you recommend for a new homebuilt system?

I have the Cambridge DTT 2500 speakers which I understand don't interface well with the SBL card. (Which burns my butt since I just bought them 6 months ago in anticipation of a rebuild)

I purchased the SBL 5.1 card but have not installed it yet. Thinking about returning it and getting the Phillips card.

Any opinions appreciated.

In regards to the not connecting well... My buddy has a X-Gamer 5.1 and the older DTT 5.1 which also has a built in decoder.
The problems is bypassing one of the decoders to get the Dolby Digital decoding to work properly. And Creative just happens to make a cable that go's from the digital out on the sound card, to the 5.1 in on the speakers.

So these speakers do work together, but it is a waste of a decoder.
Personally I am holding out for a very nice 5.1 speakers set that does not have a decoder included, That's why we bought the soundcard anyway isn't it!

I'd take the AE over the SBLive!

The AE looks fantastic...it has some sweet processing to send 2 channel sources to 4 or 6 speakers or 4 channel sources to 6 speakers. It also has SPDIF in and out. It also supposedly has much nicer sound quality (I"ve never heard one so I can't comment there)

I intened to buy an AE in a month or so.
