An people wonder why BOTH Bush and Kerry were bad choices? They both were for this vile thing... This is why we need to start voting third party to put pressure on the major parties. Otrherwise whether you are to the right or to the left it will not matter. We will have no rights left to argue against each other with anyway... 🙁

Kerry was not "for" it. He was for letting parts expire and limiting other parts.

Good Video. It's too bad the ACLU is very selective in the amendments they wish to protect. They could do more to protect the fourth and second amendments. If they did that they might actually make a difference.

To tell you the truth, no one was ever able to figure out where Kerry stood on anything, let alone the Patriot Act. His position changed with the wind. In fact, he probably couldn't answer the question straight away even today.

The second amendment already has its own advocacy groups with a hell of a lot more clout than the ACLU. The ACLU can focus on other areas.

I agree with you on the fourth amendment.
