I'm in an odd situation here...256mb of pc133 ram just came in from crucial, and i have a KK266 on order. If i return the ram and motherboard and go with 256mb of pc2100 ram and the MSI KT266 board, i'l take an 80-90 dollar hit. Is it worth it? Mostly play Tribes2 and other games at high resolutions

I don't know how much your shipping is on that motherboard or what. But, at crucial, 256 of ddr 2100 and 256 of pc133 is within $10. The motherboards (on pricewatch) are within $20. So, looking at those prices i would think upgrading to ddr would be worth it. But i may be just talking out my as* because you may have restocking fees and stuff.

Just fyi, in case you don't know...second day ups is free at crucial right now (i just ordered another 256 pc2100). And you may want to look at newegg for the motherboard. I think they have free shipping also (or is that onvia...shrug).
