I'll get you started, it's been about twenty years since I worked with boolean algebra.

The bar above a single variable inverts it. A bar above a equation inverts the output of the regualar equation. Compare an AND and NAND gate or a OR and a NOR gate.

4.1 is a simple NAND gate, on the page above.
