Ack! Socket errors galore!

I've been happily running Win2k Adv Server for quite a while now. Today my sister wanted some Mp3's, so I installed AudioGalaxy, BearShare, and iMesh in one fell swoop. Immediately after the installation of these files, I couldn't surf the internet. I said...okay, I'll reboot.

After rebooting Windows gave me an error that all services did not load properly. I checked, and the following programs did not execute:
MySQL
Apache

Still, all IP connectivity seemed to be cutoff. I couldn't ping a thing, not even the SMC router that was two feet away. So...

I uninstalled the three MP3 file sharing programs, and some other programs just for fun. Rebooted, same problem. Here are some of the errors that I have gotten:

\mysql\bin\mysql "ERROR 2004: Can't create TCP/IP socket (10106)

\apache\apache "[error] (1063)The service process could not connect to the service controller: Error starting service control dispatcher"

I can't figure this out. If anyone here can help me with my woes it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks to any and all on this board that can assist.
