Ack! Is my AGP slot SOL?

I was messing around with an old mobo the other day, and while installing an AGP graphics card, the small white clip at the end of the slot broke in half.

anyone know if the AGP slot is still usable without the clip?

I haven't done any testing with it yet, but I'm looking to give it away to one of my friends. without an AGP slot, though, it's useless to him (and me).

The clip is just a retention hook. Many mainboards don't even have it.

So make sure the remains don't obstruct proper card insertion, and go ahead.
