Turned on my 5 month old Samsung monitor (Samsung 226BW Black 22" 2 ms Widescreen LCD Monitor), and noticed that one pixel is now BRIGHT RED - looks like a very small laser pointer is being shined on it.
I'm shocked and dismayed that this dead pixel (at least I'm assuming it's a dead pixel) is almost in the dead center of my LCD screen - so it CAN'T be ignored.
Is there any way to recover dead pixels? Can I flash the firmware of the LCD monitor to see if it will respond/recover? I'm at a loss, this thing showed up out of no where and is front and centore on my display.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
