WHY do they put so much DAMN packaging around these DVDs? It's SUCH a pain in the ass just to open! damn stickers everywhere

To make it as conspicuous as possible for theives trying to open the case in the store? I guess same reason they puts those huge plastic frames on them so you can't just slip it under your coat...

yeah, my E.T. case was all covered with stickers, and since it's not a normal plastic case, some of the paper came off!! pissed me off.

I hate when they put stuff in the hard plastic covering... you have no choice but to use a knife...

DONOT USE a knife to open DVD's.

Adam Eaton cut himself and missed two or three starts a few years back with the padres:Q
