acid reflux

About all you can do is preventative

Drink less sodas and beer, more water
Eat smaller meals, more often
Eat slower, chew more
Cut down on smoking, or quit
Don't eat before going to bed

95% of digestion is supposed to occur in the mouth. Many peoples problems (including mine) come from eating way too fast due to a hurried lifestyle. Eating too fast and not chewing properly shifts too much of the burden of digestion to the stomach, thus the increase in gastric acids

Why does "Acid Reflux" make me think of apocalypse now: redux?

I don't even know what acid reflux is tbh. Not hard to imagine though. My tip is to drink water. It's slightly base (??) and should help calm it down.

do you guys have any home remedies for acid reflux?

I used to get that really bad. I started taking those Coral Calcium vitamins (can get them pretty cheap in Walmart now), no more problem

It was unexpected, but after a few weeks the acid reflux went away. I guess my body was too acidic, and the calcium tabs evened it out.
