I'm using Acid Pro 2.0a build 118(Found a CD for it in a box of stuff I packed away when I finished building my computer), I just started playing around with the program in school for a TV Production class and now have a simple question.. how do I install effects(fx)? I know at school it has effects that I can use but here at home I have none, I've grabbed the .dll's that look like that effects from the copy at school but I have no idea how/if you can import 'em. Or can I DL them? Any help please? Thanks in advance.

I can't remember, but I think that the FX installed with the program. Why don't you just install Acid at home?

Are you saying that you get different installs at school and at home? Huh?

I have Acid Pro 2 and 3, and v.2 came with the XFX 1 set of effects and v.3 came with the XFX1, 2 & 3 sets. AFAIK, the FX installed automatically with the program.

Is there a difference in OS between the computers?

Yeah, at school they have a copy they got with something back in the day, version 2.0d I believe. Build 168. At home, however, I have an installation CD that came with my HP burner, it's version 2.0a build 118. Yeah, there is a difference in the OS's, running NT4 at school and 2k at home, it must just be the difference in versions of ACID Pro, I'll have to see if I can get my hands on a newer version.
