1) buy house
2) rent out house to 3 new officers (2nd lt)
3) hire prop mgr
4) get xferred
5) buy house near new base
6) repeat step2

by the time u retire w/20yrs, you own 7 houses thruout the usa.

I'm 33, married, and have a 4 yr old. Wife stays home and takes care of our daughter and I work. If I was single, I would lot more toys and would've paid the house off lot sooner.

Vette is at 0% but the promotion was only for 36 months so payment is relatively high. Still, it's better than nothing as GM rarely include 0% on Corvettes.

Back in the day the American Dream was to be content with your own house, your own car, a wife, and kids. A nice happy little family who appreciated what they had and worked hard.

Then people started getting greedy.

Or they started thinking they could have it all, divorced wife, went on guilt trips and believe they should support the democratic party because they feel they owe a debt to society and they want to pay it off with your money.

hmm... I like this idea
First things on my mind for money concerns was getting these damned loans paid back. But your idea.. this I like.
Ultimately I just want to own and pay off a custom built home with some nice property. I love a good yard, especially if its in a great climate. And I also want some say in what kind of rooms my place has. I need a home theater. And a game/recreation room (billiards, videogames, poker).
