Acess97 and Rambus memory - problem?

Anyone know if Access97 is compatible with Rambus memory?

I just put together a brand new system with 1 gig rambus 1066 and installed Windows XP clean - and then Access97 - when i load Access97 it gives a OUT OF MEMORY error.

I also tried updating Windows XP with service packs and patches and then re-tried Access97 with the same results.

I was thinkning it checks for available memory and doesnt recognize Rambus or something?

If anyone has any ideas - i appreciate the help.
