i have the 19" 1680x1050 version of this and honestly love it. Its got surprisingly good color, I like it as much as my last display which was s-pva even though this is TN. acer has REALLY bright backlights too.

Would probably get this if it werent for living in CA. sigh.

I am in CA and this monitor was $125 delivered. Bought two. For some reason they did not add the extra treehugger tax.

there goes my built in excuse for why not to waste money on a hot deal. but uh.. i already have a 19" one... yeah. and 9.75% tax is too much!

Ordered yesterday @ 8:30am, received it today @ 2:20pm. Monitor looks great, and is a nice upgrade from my 3 year old Acer 19" 5:4 LCD that just died last week.

I got the 23 inch version of this monitor a week ago and it's lovely, promised my son one and he'll be quite pleased with this 22 inch I'm sure

newegg had this lcd on sale a couple of days ago for a similar price. it has really good reviews my only concern is the response time for gaming. most tns are 2 ms now.

Just played an hour of Savage 2 and had no ghosting at all. My previous Acer (AL1916S) was 8ms and I had no ghosting with that either.

The monitor arrived late this afternoon, very nice screen, I like my 23 inch wide screen Acer with it's glossy bezel better but this 22 inch version
was quite a bit cheaper, my son is pleased.

If by "better" you mean "cheaper" then yes, otherwise not a chance. The S2309 is full 1080P HD (1920x1080) where the Acer X223Wbd is "only" 1680x1050.

It might be better for some people 1920x1080 makes the text too small on a 23.
