Acer Travelmate 8204 (Napa) Review

Kind of light on the benchmarks (no gaming benchmarks), but it does reveal that the 8402 has better battery life and general performance than its 8104 predecessor.

The thing about acer is that all there good notebooks are not available in the US.....it's a shame too b/c those noteboks are good. I don't know if this one will be in the US, but I hope Acer brings their other good notebooks here.

I think they offer enough of their nicer notebooks in the U.S. The Ferrari, Travelmate 8104, and Aspire 9500 series are among their best IMO, and they're all available from U.S. etailers.

The one thing I do hate about Acer is that fact that all of their notebooks come with a std. 1 yr. warranty, and unless you want to pay for some exorbitant 3rd party warranty at Newegg, TigerDirect, or CC, you're stuck with 1 yr. of coverage.
