I am looking for a living room PC and while I'm trying to keep budget low, I came across this Revo 100. Wow, I love the design! The specs do not seem too bad either, I think.

Specs: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/PT.SES02.029

Here's what typically happens on my living room PC:
- multiple tabs in Firefox (10 tabs open in each of two browser windows is common)
- streaming music in the background
- sometimes Skype session runs on top of this with video
- Picasa slideshows
- most of video consists of shows streaming from websites
- some movies, but not much, so Blu-Ray is interesting, but not that important
The PC would be connected to a 42" LCD @ 1080p. One limitation I can see is that my 5.1 surround sound system (Monsoon MH-505) is a PC system so it needs 3.5mm output for each pair of channels. Would I have to get a receiver to be able to output sound to those?

Oh and the MSRP still hurts a bit at $449. :(
My alternative is to get a slimline tower Acer AX3400-E4202 for $279.

Does anyone have experience with a Revo 100? Or any feedback using it for the tasks outlined above?
