Acer Predator case? Worth buying on ebay for a build? How standard (micro-)ATX are they?

That's probably why they are stripped of the internal components, and being sold on Ebay. :p

I've see them on display in a store before, but I didn't look inside. So I have no idea if they are standard connections or not. They are even uglier in person.

1U server boxes are nicknamed pizzaboxes. I had a couple of those... swore NEVER again, unless its a half length and quiet one.

"Pizza-box" style Macs were also a thing.

This particular case design was used for the Centris/Centris/Performa 610, 660, and Power Macintosh/Performa 61xx series

People referred to the older Macintosh LC (aka the Performa 400 series & Quadra 605) as pizza boxes as well. Personally I think the later case was designed as a cheeky response. "You want a pizza box? We'll give you a pizza box!"
