Had this new Acer Aspire 6530-6522 for about a month. I run it off the adapter all the time, but conditioned the battery yesterday, left it at 40%, wrapped it in plastic and put it in the refrigerator for safekeeping. It was a bitch because I couldn't figure out a way to have the capacity displayed while cycling it several times. My Lenovo T60 has the battery's capacity prominently displayed in yellow in the taskbar at all times, and updating, of course. I can find no way to do that with this Acer. Does Vista (Home Premium) have something that supports this, or maybe some utility I can install? I think it sucks if I have to pass my mouse cursor over the battery icon in the tray in order to see how much capacity is present. I looked through the Acer utilities and don't see a means of changing things so the battery capacity displays. I will be upgrading to Windows 7 when the upgrade disks ship in a month or so.
