I've had this monitor for a couple of days now and here are my initial observations.
For starters, my usual monitor is a BenQ 1440p 60Hz 32” VA panel. I’d been looking for a 1440p 144Hz 27" IPS monitor to replace it and I pre-ordered this one a few weeks ago. As expected, the colors on the IPS panel are a little nicer than the VA panel and everything looks really sharp. Nvidia G-Sync appears to be perfectly compatible with the monitor’s FreeSync but I haven’t tested the entire 144Hz range yet. Gaming looks great and I haven’t noticed any ghosting but I’m also not very sensitive to it. The monitor has 3 overdrive settings but the off and normal settings seem exactly the same. The extreme setting works but it adds a lot of overshoot. There are 3 VRB blur reduction settings. Off, Normal, and Extreme. None of them seem to affect blur and FreeSync gets disabled when they are enabled.
Here are some blur buster shots taken with my phone. It looks like there is strobe cross talk which might indicate there is some blur reduction going on.

Here is a shot with overdrive set to extreme. Lots of overshoot here.
For Comparison, here is a shot from my 60Hz VA panel. You can see the typical VA black smear in the top lane. There is more ghosting but the image is cleaner.
The Backlight bleed is rather disappointing and is most noticeable in the lower corners.
Other thoughts: I’ve noticed vertical line artifacts flashing on the screen 4 different times. I’ve never seen these on my other monitor which uses the same GPU and DP cable. Overall, the monitor is really nice but I’ll probably be sending it back because of the vertical line flashes.
