Acer Laptop cannot see 5G Network

Hi everyone

This issue is occuring on my mom's laptop, so ill try to describe the issue at a high level first, maybe it's an easy one.

Her Acer Laptop cannot see the 5G Network (provided by Comcast), but her cellphone can see it.


Anyone know what could cause this?

Her laptop most likely doesn't have a dual-band wireless card in it, therefore it can't see a 5GHz band.

Most cell phones have dual-band which is why it can see that frequency.
