My Acer monitor came with a calibration program called eDisplay Management. It's a color/brightness/contrast calibration that is much better than Windows 7's built-in calibration. My display looks as good as it can without shelling out $80+ for a hardware calibrator.
The only problem is it only works when an Acer monitor is detected, and when I run HDMI from my video card through my receiver for audio, Windows and eDisplay detect the receiver and the program stops functioning. Using both DVI and HDMI causes far too many problems, and my motherboard's onboard is analog only, and very prone to interference.
So if anyone else out there uses this, is there a way to save my current calibration preset as something I can use outside the program, like an icc or .icm? I cannot find any file with the name of my preset in the program's folders or registry.
