Remember, this is the 8th-Gen i5! SIX cores, on your desktop. Not a bad price, not at all, for a six-core pre-built. Of course, you'll want to upgrade with an SSD. I have no idea of the mobo in this bad box will take an M.2 PCI-E NVMe drive, but that would be an interesting option, if supported.
Edit: This was supposed to go to Hot Deals, sorry Moderators.
Anyways, of note, this desktop PC has front USB3.1 Gen2. Yes, 10Gbit/sec USB ports, one Type-A, one Type-C. Pretty sweet feature.
Back Panel Ports
Video Ports
1 VGA, 2 HDMI
Rear USB
2 x USB 3.1 Gen 1
4 x USB 2.0
RJ45
1 port
Rear Audio Ports
3 ports
Expansion
PCI Slots (Available/Total)
(1/1) PCI-E x1
(1/1) PCI-E x16
(1/2) M.2
Hmm, looks like it has two HDMI ports (Coffee Lake is still limited to HDMI 1.4, no 2.0, so only 4K30, no 4K60, why no DisplayPort? Even HP SFF Ivy Bridge PCs had DP. Sigh.)
Either that, or I wish that Intel would enable 4K60 over HDMI 1.4, with reduced color depth, like NVidia does with their drivers, for example with the GT 630 / GT 730 (Kepler) dGPUs. I've tested it, it works.
Anyways, it DOES appear to have another M.2 slot, so assuming that it doesn't come with an SSD, and therefore, one of the slots must be used by a Wifi M.2 short card, then it must have an M.2 slot for a main SSD on the board. Looks like it will take an NVMe drive, at first glace. (Probably an option for Acer to release a higher model with an Optane Memory drive, too.)
Get some DDR4-2666 RAM to boost it to 16GB:

Another $80 or so.
Edit: This is their model with 16GB Optane Memory cache drive, $50 more than OP.

Edit: PC in OP, is now $20 more that the daily deal is over, but still a warm deal.
If anyone picks one of these up, can they please open it up, and post mobo pics, and report on how many SATA ports there are on the mobo, and if there's space in the chassis (and a power cord available) to add another SATA SSD or HDD to the PC?
(The Walmart BF 2017 special "HP Power Gaming PC" did have an additional SATA port and power lead, to add a drive, so that made it fairly easy to add a boot SSD to it. That was a decent machine as well, with dual-channel DDR4, i5-7400, and a GTX 1060 3GB for $500 +tax OTD at the B&M.)
Please see latest post, newest deal is i5-8400+ w/16GB Optane Memory for $429.99
