When you said "Gaming laptop" and I saw the price, I was interested, but looking at it, it DOES NOT have a (mobile) dGPU, just 12th-gen iGPU (Xe). While this is much better for an iGPU than it used to be, it is still beaten by AMD iGPUs, and then even more by NVidia dGPUs, like the GTX 1650 and RTX 3050 (ti).

So, I would personally hesitate to call it a "gaming laptop", due to lack of dGPU.

As far as pricing goes for a 12th-gen i5 laptop, not too bad. Still higher than I'd like.

Disclaimer, I picked up a 11400H / GTX 1650 4GB / 8GB / 256GB SSD laptop for $449 at Walmart at the beginning of the month. So you can get laptops with dGPUs in this price range (under $500), if you look around and get lucky. Of course, the 12th-gen i5 has a more powerful CPU.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, this IS a good deal on a 12th-gen i5 laptop, as 12th-gen still has a "newness tax", and is around TWICE the price of similiarly loaded-out 11th-gen laptops. (Ironically, 11th-gen has better battery life.)

Well, we can call it a "beginner" gaming laptop for kids and adult casual gamers. The Xe GPU is weaker than the competition but with ST boost from the 12th gen CPU, I think it would play some popular games at tolerable fps with reduced graphical settings.
