Acer Chromebook C720 question

Is the 4gb version worth $50 extra over the 2gb model?

This will be for my grade school and intermediate school kids.

Thanks

Mahalo for the replies.

Would the extra ram make a difference with games or playing videos?

How well does touch work in the Chrome OS? I'm not sure what the usefulness of a touch screen on a laptop would be.

I was thinking about that too, but there's a truckload of games in the Chrome store:

Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, Bejeweled, etc. As far as memory usage, I haven't found a clear answer other than, in general, streaming video + games + multiple tabs runs smooth on 4GB. Is it worth the extra $50 for double the RAM? If it's soldered and you use any of that stuff, I'd say yes (because you can never upgrade if it's soldered like the last model was). If it's just a basic Internet surfer, 2GB is probably more than fine. I would really like a 4GB Touchscreen model, but I don't think I'm willing to pay $350 for that...(doesn't exist anyway, but I'd imagine it'd be a $50 upgrade like the non-touch model)
