I am trying (Without success I must say 😡 ) to fix a friends Acer Chromebook C710-2856 as the screen is cracked I have ordered from two different vendors (with three screens in total) and the only one that will let the computer power on is the cracked one
With the other screens the computer will not even power on

What am I doing wrong?
I ordered This and This

The connector is the same so is the display resolution and back light type so why is it not working?

Please help
Thanks

OP ordered two screens to repair a notebook that brand new only costs 200 bucks? Tell me you got to return those displays for a refund at least?

Chromebooks almost fall into that 'uneconomical for repair' category where its more fiscally sound to replace than repair.

Well, on second thought - this is a cheap way to get practice replacing laptop screens. Depending on the design, that can be a touchy process.

Yes I got a refund for the "Bad" LCDs
Does anyone know the correct part to order?
All of the vendors say that they will ship a "compatible" part that is equal to the original but apparently that is not the case with the chromebook's LCD Panel
