acer aspire one d255e won't restart after 2gb Ram

Hi ! i am Terrence, so im using aspire one d255e with xp home os than after upgrade 1gb to 2gb 1333 kingstone ram My netbook work normaly but when i click restart my netbook won't boot the screen blank black with power light still on ! why ? can help me ?
so now i only can click shutdown to turn it off and press start button to turn it on...(Cannot Click Restart to Reboot System)!!

Hi, I had the same exact problem you did after installing an upgrade 2GB memory to my D255E with Windows 7. What it took to fix it was "POWER RESET" to my computer. Unplug your A/C adapter, remove your battery. Then hold down your power "ON" button for and least 30 seconds. Put your battery back in, hook up your A/C adapter. And, the problem should be fixed. I had the same problem, but I found a proper Ram for Acer Aspire One D255E.
I bought 2GB Kingston DDR3 Ram 1333Mhz both 1.5V and next 1.34V and both won't work - blank screen.
Then I bought mentioned below RAM (1.5V 2Rx8 Samsung 1066Mhz) and works !!! :

I did tried to power reset my netbook asus aspire one D255e but still shows black on my screen but power light is working. When I tried to put it back my original 1GB DDR3 Ram it shows still working. What does it means? The ram 2GB is not compatible? Thanks. Please check my attachment the ram I bought it 2GB vs the orig 1 GB ram I have it..I did check also the specs of my ram before I bought for 2 gig..Please check..Thanks

Is it possible that the RAM I bought it online is defective?
