Most Acer laptops come with nice system specs....and a crappy battery. They typically come with a 1.5 hour battery which is pretty low by today's standards.

Asus laptops, even the cheaper models, come with up to a 4 hour battery.

Ouch... I was just thinking about the battery life. That is a deal killer for me but otherwise it looks like a sweet deal.

I just got mine in today, this is a beautiful laptop. absolutely gorgeous, I wish I didn't have to give it to my mom 🙁 Maybe I'll have to save up. IT DOES NOT HAVE BLUETOOTH!

I don't know which Acers you've been dealing with, but my Travelmate 8100 can get ~4 hours easily of battery life.

I got rid of the 100 GB 4200RPM that came with it and puchased an 80 GB 7200 RPM Hitachi, its much faster.

Dont need the extra 20 GB.
