I just got an Acer Aspire AS1662WLMi notebook from newegg and I have some questions about lcd brightness. My girlfriend has an older emachines laptop that has the same exact display as my acer, 15.4 widescreen display. Her laptop is WAY more clear then mine. I've tried messing with the display properties and messing with the gamma and brightness. But no matter what I change, it seems like my display has a constant white hue. Anyone have any idea of how to make it more bold and less..... whiteish?
