Acer Aspire 6920 Drivers

I've installed XP on this machine at the request of an elderly person who is used to using XP. I've found all other drivers except:

Modem device on high definition audio bus

Acer's site does not have drivers available for XP on this particular model. Is anyone able to help out with this?

The modem is probably UAA-compatible and it needs the Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio before it can function. Don't be concerned that the download is from HP; it's the correct driver for Windows XP.

Thanks Bubbaleone. I did try that one and sp41691 - Both ran the setup correctly, but didn't affect any change.

Any idea what this driver is exactly? Is it critical?

Are you seeing the modem listed in Device Manager with a yellow exclamation mark beside it?
