my laptop recently died and before i send it away for warranty i would like to take the hard drive out and retrieve my documents. most of it is school work that i would like to have instead of doing it all over again and i am pretty sure acer will wipe my hard drive so i would like to grab those documents before i send it out. i unscrewed all of the screws on the bottom, but the door will not slide or pull open and i dont want to break the door with force either. thanks in advance.
 
nevermind i got it open, there are two little sticker thingys that look like plastic that were stuck on 2 screws, i never noticed them before and thought it was part of the botton but i removed them and unscrewed those screws and the bottom opened with ease.
