Question Acer Aspire 5750Z doesn't start

In most cases it does't even start, don't see anything.
I took out the battery, it works on the AC adapter.
On a few trials, the laptop starts and for a few seconds the windows blue window logon appears and disappears. the resolution, in those few seconds, appears low.
I can't enter BIOS with F2.
It doesn't start from the CD, from a bootable disk.
Only on the few cases, when i see the windows logon, the hard disk indicator light lights.

That's an older (released in 2012) budget laptop, so it would be tough to figure out over the internet what could be wrong with it.

The most likely guess would be the motherboard is going on it, but you can always run a utility like CrystalDiskInfo to test the hard drive's health (if it starts and stays on long enough). If it does turn out to be the motherboard, it really wouldn't be worth sinking much money into it based on its age/specs.

try taking out the hard drive and see if it starts and goes to no bootable device found. try replacing/reseating ram. those two are easy to do and see if they are the cause or not
