acer aspire 3000 laptop

as far as i can tell my laptop does not have bluetooth but has a button for it. when i hit the button it says no device. looking at the acer website it says that i should have a sticker on the bottom saying bluetooth which i do not.

Now since i have the button for it, is there a way to crack this puppy open and add it.

IIRC, usually the bluetooth module would be placed near the wireless card (which is usually accessible by unscrewing a door on the bottom of the computer). You could probably find an internal bluetooth module for your computer by googling (it may be notebook specific, it may be a generic part). As for the installation, you may be able to find a service manual through Google too.
