The question that I have.
Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300
GPU/VPU NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300
Graphic Type Dedicated Card
Is that a removable card? Or is it an onboard with dedicated memory?

Im looking for a laptop that has the same specs as posted above. Its just that I would like something a little better for the video card. Or the ability to upgrade the video card.

Most likely, no. Even if it was, the cooling solution would not be powerful enough for something more energy consuming. I don't think you'll find a laptop for under $1000 with anything higher than a MR X1400.

Basically in the mobile sector:

7950GTX>>>7900GS>>7700Go >> 7600Go = MR X1700 = MR X1600 >>> MR X1400 > 7400 Go > MR X1300 > 7300 Go >> Integrated Graphics

1150-1200 is the max that I can spend. I want to stay away from Sony, dell, HP, Gateway.

Any recommendations?

You could try configuring an E1705 with a 7900GS for under $1200, but it may be hard. Your next best bet would be to look in the Dell Outlet - You can get an E1505 with a 256MB MR X1400 for under $1000.

I would rather stay away from dell. the e1705 with a 7900gs is a little over 1300.00

I would like to stay with a 17 inch lcd.
Dual core AMD or Intel
1GB Ram
80-120 GB HD
at a 7600 or higher video card.

Id rather stay away from ATi if possible.

I doubt you'll be able to get anything with those specs for $1200. The lowest I've seen notebooks with a 7700 or X1600 is about $1250-$1300, and they are not 17" notebooks.
