I've convinced the wife that we need to upgrade from the 17" CRT, so I'm looking for some reviews from you Anandtechers who own/have owned this monitor and gamed with it.

I am interested in any experience with scaling on this monitor. I currently have a 6600gt which will definitely not be able to drive games at 1680x1050, so I will be using the scaling function for almost all games.

I'm also interested in any ghosting issues/input lag that this panel might exhibit.

The monitor will be primarily used for gaming with some dabbling in general office type work.

I checked the LCD thread stickied at the top, and from what I can tell from there, this is a very good overall monitor. xtknight recommends it and that alone holds much weight, but there were no reviews concerning its gaming performance either there, or on the widescreen gaming forum.

I don't have one but when I buy my 1680x1050 Monitor this will be it. I've been thinking on it for a while and the more I think on it the more sure I am this is the one I want. Made a thread about it a bit ago; it was either this for $280 (now it's $250) or the Sceptres for $100 less. Apparently 6-bit will appear flat color wise, this 8-bit panel looks much better. I've seen flat looking (talking about colors here) LCDs and want to avoid them in the future.
